Dear Wise & Wild Heart,
We are so bound by what happens in our experience, so distracted by the content of this moment that we forget there is an intelligent space around us - and within us - that allows this moment to exist.
Can you sense the fragile and fleeting form of thought as it appears and disappears into the fullness of this space? Can you feel raw and tender emotion soften into the folds of a body made up almost entirely of emptiness? Can you sense that part of you who knows the story you are living is written upon paper so loving in its ability to hold every word that spills out onto its page that nothing can ever be deemed as unwanted?
And perhaps, just maybe, can you sense the fact that this unblemished paper is you – who you really are - and that life owes itself to the quiet fullness behind every ache.
Or have you become thoughts, dear One, have you become the noise of your story? Have you found your sense of self in being the author and not the page, and therefore willing to bargain your peace to validate precious time spent toiling over protagonists and happy endings? Have you lost yourself in the need to defend who you think you are, and therefore, what you think should happen in life?
