Dear beloved community,
Despite it all, I have experienced a few threads of Joy this week that dipped deep into the waters of self-contentment. Having rarely felt such consistent moments of lightness, I wondered how I could store them up for a time when I knew light & love wouldn’t be such an easy choice.
The way you make beautiful experiences a place of refuge is to make sure you were fully present to them in the first place.
Your awareness furrows itself into that moment and carves out deep channels for Joy to flow to you through. And in that peaty, dark underground well, presence stores itself in a place no logic, nor time, nor mind can reach.
A pure moment of awareness sinks deep below the physical waterline and into a place unmeasured. And when you are thirsty - when you feel disconnected and have a sense of disarray - you can plunge yourself back into those sable black waters.
And the more you dip into this storing well, the more it becomes replenished. It never depletes, even if you rely on it too long, even if you soak your body in it 1000 times a day - it’s always whole and full and just as it was when you undammed your heart at that moment.
Presence is our ever-giving cup, our victory over time, our reason to need a little less and live a little more. It is our step away from the middle manager of self-improvement and straight into the fierce autonomy of Being.
So cast some attention on to those extraordinary moments that otherwise fold themselves underneath the tide of whitewashed ordinariness.
And you will find yourself there.
Sunk, into the endlessly replenishing ocean of your soul.
Love, Sez.
This week there’s a new meditation being sent out via this newsletter and Insight Timer about the illusion of self-healing.
I am answering your questions and will publish them here - just check out the previous newsletter for the link or send your question here: hello@sezkristiansen.com

Sez 💕dear. This is divine timing 🙏🏽 Thank you for the reminder and sweet words. I am in this space now where I am feeling so abundant, present and grateful. And the storing well is a much needed reminder. I was feeling a bit concerned as to how to get back to this space once the illusions of life try to creep in and pull me into their dungeon again. 🥰
Thank you dear sister for always sharing your heart 💚and walking 👣this path with us.
Together we rise 🚀. Together we shine⭐✨.
