Dear Friend,
How have you entered this new year? How does it feel to leave 2021 behind? And what is your word for 2022?
I believe words are magic & medicine for healing hearts, so I hope you use yours as remedies for all the aches you find in this life.
My word for 2022 is Reciprocal. In its original form, it means to return the same way.
For me, to return the same way means to journey back to a wild place that I already know - but have forgotten through the domestication of living in a disconnected world. It means to be both in collaboration with the universe -and- to return ourselves back to it, as if we’ve been missing for a while.
I want to unlearn what's never been right for me, to remember what is whole (and has always been), and to return to a knowing that lives inside of me - and that calls me from every fiber of my Being - to trust in myself and my path. I wish to steward this Heart, mind, and spirit back to its wilder ways, so that I may know what it's like to live freely inside of this body.Â
This cosmic collaboration - this reciprocity - between the physical and the spiritual is how we master living between two worlds.
But it's not easy, for the ways of soul-theft and body-suppression come in many alluring packages, people, and places. It is our job to decipher what is hearty nourishment for us - and what is just powdered sugar in this life.
Returning ourselves back to ourselves is the guiding principle of nature. The natural world cannot be what it's not. It cannot live where it does not thrive. It cannot give when it is itself depleted. It cannot flourish without change. It cannot create, bloom, renew, root, rest, grow, in places that do not support its full potential. And if the wild is left to be - it becomes the most vibrant expression of itself.Â
For that is too what lies inside of us - a knowing that we are everything we are seeking for.

Remembering wild is a verb. It’s an act of wandering off the beaten track to find our own way home. Most of all, it is the bravery to allow ourselves to live in a way that is vulnerable, authentic, and unconditional from the external world.
With your support, I will be offering you a private podcast with stories from my personal journal that can be used as a living, breathing course that you can do anywhere in the world.
These stories tell about the raw and vulnerable encounters I have alone in nature, from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and how we can all connect to this healing wisdom that we already have within us, through learning how to see the wild as a reflection of the soul.
This space offers you:
Beneath the poetry - a free weekly series where we look at one of my poems and discuss the lessons we can learn from them about empowerment, healing, and connection.
The private podcast called Remembering Wild, including downloadable workbooks, journal questions, and rituals that you can carry with you onwards (the first episode is free and then onwards for paid supporters)
A community of wild-hearted souls, who are here to connect, discuss and share their experiences
This space offers you a chance to decide if reciprocal support is something for you - and whether you are curious to continue a more in-depth and personal relationship with myself and the work I offer.
The 1st ever episode in Remembering Wild begins tomorrow and you will receive an introduction to the series plus the first episode for free. I hope you enjoy it, respond in any way that makes sense to you, or simply take what you need and leave what you don't. It is all received with so much gratitude, appreciation, and sincerity.

Thank you for creating this space Sez. Your IT meditations bring me much healing. I was just thinking yesterday of how I would like to support you deeper and possibly connect deeper and I came across your mail today. Life is indeed wild.
Looking forward to making deeper connections with people here.
